Location Ideas

Crystal Creek Falls:

This location is an easy half mile walk down a paved path that leads you to a stunning waterfall. The water is swallow making it super easy to get in to, to capture the most beautiful shots with the waterfall behind it. At the start of the trail, there is a small field to capture those golden hour shots of your dreams. There is a restroom on site.


Nur Pon Open Space:

This location has several bridges as well as several places with water access. There is a pond area, small creek as well as direct access to the Sacramento River. There are lots of wildlife and flowers. This location also features trees completely encased in Ivy vines giving it an enchanted forest feeling. 


Camden House:

This location is offers everything. Main feature is a beautiful white house that is maintained by the park service. It has a brand new footbridge along with access to a small creek. And that's not all! Behind this beautiful home, there is a large grass field where a beautiful barn sits in the back corner. There is restrooms on site.


Old Shasta:

This small town has so many unique, one of a kind features. This location hosts the most beautiful poppies in the spring. There is a beautiful huge barn in the small town with farm equipment. Along with the famous ruins, giant metal doors and wood walkways. This small town also has a blacksmith shop and hiking trail behind the ruins.


The Bluffs:

There is one of two spots to access breathtaking views of Redding, the famous Sundial Bridge and Sacramento River. The first spot is off Palisades Ave. There is a walking trail that takes you right to the edge giving you the picture perfect background. The second is along side Hilltop with a walking path that overviews the river and all of downtown Redding.


Sundial Bridge:

This is one of the most iconic locations in Redding, this location delivers all your outdoor needs from river access, bridges and gardens. There are so many options, you won't be disappointed.


Salt Creek Bridge:

This beautiful bridge is right off Hwy 299. There is some walking trails past the bridge but the scenery at this location past the bridge has been affected by the Carr Fire.


Diestelhorst Bridge:

This beautiful bridge is completely with antique light posts and stretches over the Sacramento River. It also has direct access to the Sacramento River Trail for water pictures.


Anderson River Park:

This park features so many options! Between direct access to the Sacramento River, a duck pond and beautiful foot bridge, this location also has sport fields for those action portraits. Also for an extra flare of fun, the splash pad and playground for some more candid pictures of playing children.
